Everything you need to know before your quest begins.
Game Overview
Instead of B-I-N-G-O, you’re playing with Q-U-E-S-T.
There is no game master, no solo caller; everyone takes turns rolling and shaping the story as it unfolds.
2-8 Players.
Each player can play one or multiple cards, no two cards are the same.
Setup
Each player takes a bingo board (or more!)
Grab a handful of tokens
Natural tiles = story moments
Dark Brown tiles= character moments
Blank tiles = create your own story moment
Pick your play style
Story Mode: Pick your tiles to build your own narrative
Chaos Mode: Flip tiles upside down and deal with the consequences later
Assign a Tracker
Their job: mark down rolls so you don’t repeat
Their reward: mild power and zero respect
How to Play
Players take turns rolling:
D8 (Number Die) = the number
D6 (Letter Die) = column (Q-U-E-S-T)
If the letter die lands on WILD, the roller can pick any letter
If a letter-and-number combo is repeated, re-roll.
Everyone checks their board:
Got the match? Drop a token
Don’t have it? Suffer quietly
As you play, your marked spaces begin forming a story across your board.
How to Win
Be the first player to get 5 in a row:
Across, Vertical (up/down), Diagonal (for the overachievers)
Then yell “QUEST!” like you earned it.
Tied for the win? Roll the D8. Highest roll claims victory.
The loser may tell tales of what could have been.
Story Time
Read your completed row out loud.
Some will be heroic. Some will be ridiculous. All will be memorable.
Claim Your Glory
The winner claims the Quest Medallion, eternal bragging rights, and the undeniable title of Most Heroic Human (until the next game night).
Victory should be documented. Snap a photo of your triumph and tag us on social @pixelandember so the realm may witness your greatness.
